If you have never experienced the thrill of a jungle rain, we invite you to experience it some time here in Panama because well, it's awesome. Yeah, you might pack a rain coat but unlike the mountains of Colorado, when it rains here it's still warm like 80 degrees really, so all you need is your bathing suit and embrace the thrill of the storm.
While most people think that rains will spoil their vacation, or maybe choose to travel here during the time of year when there is less rain, let me tell you, they are seriously missing out! For the most part, the rains happen for a few hours a day or at night then you enjoy the strikingly lush landscape, cooler temperatures and glowingly sunny days in between.
Now let's talk Hurricanes. In many countries its wedding season which means its honeymoon season. So many of those honeymoons with dreamy destinations of the Gulf Coast, the Caribbean, and all those tiny little paradise islands where its hurricane season and yeah, unlike rain a hurricane can really and truly destroy a honeymoon so let's look at Panama and why there are no hurricanes in Panama.
So, its pretty simple really. We are just south of the hurricane belt so while we get some ESPECTACULAR storms, we don't get hurricanes so go ahead, add Panama to that list of beautiful, romantic, and just plain incredible places to visit any time of year.
