The Perfect 8 day Itinerary to Panama

Do you ever find yourself dreaming of taking the trip of a lifetime, with your family or best friends but not sure exactly where to go, what to do, or the hardest part; how to do it? With so many global travel options, there's something for everyone; from yachts, diamond rated restaurants, and fancy hotels to backpacking the Pacific Coast Trail or maybe camping on the beach in Baja California in search of great waves, fish tacos, and a col-col Tecate.

With so many options, how do you choose, especially if there's a group and kids to consider? We know how. Seriously, we have all the answers and it is spelled like this: P.A.N.A.M.A. Maybe that gets you fired up and looking at flight prices or you think to yourself that's too far away, it's too complicated.

You have probably been working really hard lately so thinking about taking a vacation, especially internationally, may seem overwhelming to plan. We totally get it. That's why we're here for you. So, we have curated the perfect trip to Panama. It's safe, easy, stress free, super fun, full of adventure and culture, with even a bit of down time to relax. If you can get 10 days off, this is how we recommend you spend 8 days in Panama:

DAY #1: Panama City is pretty easy to get to from most big cities of the world like Chicago, Denver, Miami, Houston, Munich, Montreal, Paris, Amsterdam, Madrid, and more - you get my point. Once you arrive in the city and get through customs, we will be there waiting to take you to your hotel in Panama City for the night. Once you are all cozied up in your room, we have some nearby options for an easy and delicious meal within a quick walk or UBER  so you can get back and get some rest after a long day of travel.

DAY #2: After a good nights rest, a great cup of coffee and a tasty breakfast, we will pick you up at 9am and drive you to Morrillo so you can move in for the week, enjoy a welcome drink and take a walk on the beach to stretch your legs and take in the beautiful scenery that you will call home for the rest of the week.

DAY #3: Rested and ready to go, take a surf lesson in the best place I have ever seen to learn to surf. A shallow, sandy bottom beach break that has friendly waves for all to learn. With our ISA certified instructor, it's pretty much a guarantee that you will stand in your first lesson.

DAY #4: With tired arms and an intense desire to surf again, take another lesson or try on your own. No matter the size of the swell and tides here, the beach break is always good for learning and practicing for any level and any age.

After your lesson, take a beach walk and explore the island a short walking distance from our resort. It's a cool place for fishing, meditating, searching for buried treasures, and resting. Oh, and Princessa really is obsessed with fishing. She's a great fishing companion.

DAY #5: Today is the day for a waterfall tour! Take a hike in the morning and maybe a yoga class to stretch all those sore muscles in the afternoon. This hike has a series of 6 waterfalls to jump, swim, look for wildlife, and learn about a lush new eco system.

DAY #6: We saved the best for last - The Panamanian immersion experience. You will be hard pressed to find kinder, happier people on the planet than Panamanians. Take a hike through the jungle to a family's home where they have lived self-sustainably for over 60 years. They will welcome you with open arms and hearts, prepare authentic Panamanian meals, take a tour of their property, learn about their way of life oh, and explore the magical cascading waterfalls.

DAY #7: Sadly, this is when you have your last amazing meal with us in Morrillo and we part ways until your return for more great adventures. But, it's not over yet!  Our shuttle driver and tour guide will take you on to the Panama Canal for a tour of the locks, and then around the Historic Area of Casco Viejo and leave you at your awesome hotel for a fun night on the town before heading to the airport the next day for your flight home.

Sounds easy right? That's because it totally is! All you have to do is ask for time off, buy your tickets, send me your itinerary (and cc), then we got you from there. Easy, safe, and the best travel experience of your life.
